Our vision as a group
Every viable building in the City of Minneapolis is heated and cooled with a decarbonized and democratically-owned thermal energy network, in line with goals laid out in the City’s Climate & Equity Plan.
Our goal as a group
We believe in establishing a municipal TEN utility to facilitate broader deployment, use, and democratic ownership of TENs in Minneapolis.
While the city works on their site suitability study to be released in April 2027 we are working towards:
Educating and building power amongst residents of Minneapolis on what thermal energy networks are and benefits of municipal ownership
Advocating that the city pursue a municipally owned utility
